As a Sales assistant, you will contribute to operational activities for the organization and be responsible for analysis, opening of client files and document management.

Working as part of a team, you will need to be adaptable and take an active role with continuous improvement activities.

The Sales assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations of the branch according to the policies and procedures in force. He or she acts as a resource person between the branch and the various head office departments, including the Compliance Department and Administrative Services.

Responsibilities :

Analyzing and verifying client files (Individuals/Entities) in order to ensure accuracy while
complying with securities requirements and the regulations in effect (AML/ATF, IIROC...)
Acting on non-compliant client files for the business lines
Entering client file data in the IBM ISM system
Managing the opening of accounts email inbox
Ensuring efficient and professional correspondence with the business lines by phone and email
Ongoing improvement of procedures in place


Qualifications :

College diploma (DEC)
Bilingual (English and French) required
Autonomy, good organization skills and ability to prioritize
Team player and client service-oriented
Proficiency with Word and Excel
Knowledge of the IBM ISM system an asset
Securities experience desired
Knowledge of legal documents (succession, indenture, public registry...) an asset
Ideally, a minimum of three years experience in the administrative sector
