Legal Affairs Technician

As a Legal Affairs Technician at SOQUIJ, your responsibilities include:

  • Responding to administrative inquiries related to the contractual process and tenders.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure all contractual request files are complete and following up with stakeholders when documents are missing or additional information is required.
  • Conducting various checks on public records and obtaining the necessary documents and certificates for contract completion.
  • Preparing contract and tender documents, establishing tender schedules, publishing addenda, and communicating with bidders.
  • Creating electronic files and storing documents.
  • Entering contract-related information into the database.
  • Monitoring documents in the signing process.
  • Publishing in the Government Electronic Tendering System (SÉAO).
  • Being accountable for contract management to the Treasury Board Secretariat.
  • Assisting the Access to Information and Privacy Officer in document preparation.
  • Collaborating in the planning and organization of board of directors and committee meetings.

Requirements:

  • A college diploma in legal techniques or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • A high degree of discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail in your work methods.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Versatility and organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Customer service orientation and the ability to provide quality service.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good prioritization skills.
