Join a growing corporate team in the region, driven by an increasing transactional volume and an agile structure. You will take charge of corporate and transactional files with a high degree of autonomy, in close collaboration with lawyers and clients. The environment aims for efficiency and concrete impact on the files, with direct proximity to decision-makers.
Responsibilities — corporate deliverables and transactional support
- Prepare documentation related to incorporations, organizations, amendments, dissolutions, continuances, rollovers, share capital, and other business transactions
- Draft annual resolutions and ensure rigorous updating of corporate records
- Manage clients' corporate files from start to finish and ensure close monitoring of timelines and priorities
- Support a high volume of transactions while effectively alleviating the workload of lawyers
- Contribute to various projects related to the firm's corporate law practice
- Participate in the ongoing development of junior paralegals
Profile sought — must-haves and ways of working
- Hold a DEC in legal techniques (or equivalent)
- Have approximately 8 years of experience in corporate law, with exposure to corporate and transactional law
- Communicate fluently, both orally and in writing, in French and English (bilingualism required)
- Master the Microsoft Office suite in a document production and management context
- Demonstrate consistent autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail
- Effectively prioritize in a high-volume context and deliver with speed of execution
- Collaborate naturally with a multidisciplinary team (lawyers, paralegals, clients)
