Training and User Support Assistant

We are looking for an assistant to join the training team of the Montreal office of one of Canada's largest firms. This person will report to the Senior Director, Human Resources. The incumbent will work closely with the Montreal office assistants and the Training Specialist and will be required to assist them on a daily basis.

Main tasks:

-Ensure daily and personalized support to the assistants who need it, at the level of the software used;

-Assist the trainer in the drafting of training plans, reference guides, translations and videos, etc.;

-Participate in the administrative management of training;

-Assist the trainer in checking and testing translated documents, etc.;

-Document recurring requests for support and write periodic reports for the trainer, to assist her in the design and planning of refresher trainings;

-Maintain a record of training of support staff;

-Collect feedback on refresher trainings and inform the trainer, with the aim of ensuring continuous improvement of internal training plans;

-Ensure that the trainer is informed at all times of any non-compliance of the software used;

-Work as a team with the trainer on various special projects;

-Occasionally provide certain training sessions (when the trainer is absent);

-Perform any related tasks.

Qualifications and experience required:

-Diploma of vocational high school studies (DEP) or diploma of college studies (DEC) in office automation, with legal specialization;

-Minimum 3 years of experience in legal secretarial work;

-Mastery of Word (advanced functions) and excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite;

-Fluently bilingual with excellent written and verbal communication skills in French;

-Reliability, professionalism, punctuality, team spirit, discretion;

-Ability to manage emergencies and prioritize tasks;

-Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;

-Excellent interpersonal relationships.
