This notary firm located in the heart of Sherbrooke, whose practice is in full expansion, is looking for an associate notary to join his team.

As an associate notary involved in commercial, real estate and personal law, your responsibilities will be:

Offer high quality consulting services tailored to client needs; Analyze, understand and identify the needs and risks of clients; Write notarial deeds, private writings, Legal opinions and various procedures; Prepare, modify, revise and update various legal documents; Explain and interpret legal documents to clients; Ensure the publication of deeds notarized; Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law; Follow up with clients; Maintain and develop its network of contacts; Ensure management of the firm in collaboration with the associated notary; All other duties related to the position.

COMPETENCE (S) AND TRAINING REQUIRED (S):

The person sought will have the following key qualifications and skills:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Notarial Law; Be a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec; Accumulate 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position; > To be recognized for his / her ability to manage several files simultaneously To have good communication skills and persuasion skills To have a high degree of autonomy and independence a professional rigor; Master the Office Suite; Master the French; Have a good knowledge of English.
