Legal Assistant in Labour and Employment Law
Our client, an international law firm located in downtown Montreal, wishes to join its employment and labour law team, a legal assistant specializing in the field.
Role Overview:
- Transcribe and modify letters, agreements, contracts, procedures, reports or other dictated or handwritten documents
- Perform administrative tasks related to the position, including time entries, expense statements and invoicing
- Take charge of the agenda and ensure its follow-up
- Keep the filling up to date
- Make photocopies, faxes and any other task entrusted to him/her
Skills required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm
- Good knowledge of Outlook and Word software and their advanced functions
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel software, an asset
- Bilingualism with an excellent proficiency of French and English grammars
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Good sense of organization and management of priorities
- Team spirit and ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude, focused on customer service
- Autonomy, initiative and speed of execution
- Sense of responsibility
- Versatility and very high flexibility
