Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Corporate Secretariat and Legal Affairs area, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Advise the organization's managers on the application of applicable procurement laws, regulations, guidelines and processes as part of their procurement processes as well as the drafting of contracts, appeals, and offers and various legal documents applicable;
  • Contribute to the development of negotiating strategies specific to each file and, if necessary, participate in negotiations and procurement strategies in collaboration with internal partners
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the legal framework applicable to the various products and services provided by GRICS (contracts relating to activities in the cloud, software or content licenses, etc.)
  • Manage the various contracts of the organization.

Profile wanted

  • Bachelor of Laws
  • Member of the Bar
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Certification as secretary of selection committees issued by the Treasury Board Secretariat, in asset
  • Experience in drafting contracts, tenders and commercial agreements, particularly in the field of information technology, as well as in contract management
  • Excellent knowledge of the legal framework applicable to public agency contracts and information technology (including the Act respecting contracting by public bodies and the resulting regulations and policies)
  • Good knowledge of the Government of Quebec tendering system (SEAO), business law and intellectual property
