EDUCALOI PROFILE A registered charity working in the field of access to justice, Éducaloi has been active in Quebec for almost 20 years. Éducaloi is demonstrating leadership and innovation by reconciling law, education and communication to inform and educate Quebeckers about the law. Éducaloi is recognized across Canada and internationally as a leader in providing legal information and education to the general public. To carry out its mission, Éducaloi counts on about twenty professionals with various expertise, most of whom are members of the Quebec Bar or the Chambre des notaires.
NATURE OF WORK
The Project Coordinator initiates, develops, plans, coordinates and evaluates a portfolio of diversified projects. He is in charge of relations with the internal and external collaborators of his projects and makes sure to identify the objectives and needs of the target audience of each project in order to ensure alignment between them and Éducaloi's strategic orientations. In addition to being responsible for the delivery delivery of the deliverables, the coordinator puts in place a quantitative, qualitative and impact assessment of each of its projects in order to evaluate improvement opportunities.
The Project Coordinator also plays a key role in the development, outreach and funding of services and projects for specific clienteles assigned to him (eg, seniors, youth, Aboriginal communities, etc.). / p>
He ensures that the projects he coordinates correspond to the orientations and strategic objectives of Éducaloi and are realized in the best time-cost-benefit balance. He actively participates in the mobilization and support of the teams working on his projects and collaborates with the other teams so that the actions of his projects can feed the entire organization.
This position reports to the Director of Content.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Initiate and evaluate project opportunities in relation to the needs of target audiences, Éducaloi's mission, its strategic orientations, • Develop, design and submit project proposals and make appropriate follow-ups; • Realize an efficient implementation of new projects (contracts, project charter, budget, deadlines, resource allocation, progress reports, document management, etc.) • Ensure sound coordination of projects (budget monitoring, control deadlines, compliance with contractual obligations and the maintenance of relations with partners and collaborators) • Ensure quality control of products delivered both internally and externally and ensure effective achievement of objectives • Maintain management documentation (contracts, project charter, progress reports, deadlines, deliverables, budgets) for each project and ensure regular circulation of information - including proactive follow-up and progress status to stakeholders, content creators and management • Evaluate the project, report the results and carry out other actions related to the closure of the project project (archiving, information to the watch team and legal integrity, final and financial reports, internal and external, etc.) • Develop and maintain excellentbusiness relationships with partners, associates and clients of the organization; • Collaborate in the establishment and improvement of project management processes, ensure their application, evaluate them and propose modifications as needed • Raise issues and needs quickly with different stakeholders and management, and propose solutions to address these issues, and • collaborate on strategic directions and priority setting, policy and process formulation. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS • University degree in a relevant discipline • Relevant experience in development and project management • Excellent ability to identify, disseminate and synthesize information and issues • French language skills and good knowledge oral and written English • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Strengths • Certification in Project Management - PMP or other • Experience in a non-profit environment • Member of the Quebec Bar or the Quebec Chambre des notaires or have experience in the legal field • Knowledge of the profession Adobe suite (Acrobat, inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and demonstrate interest in new software and web trends • Valid driver's license and ability to move.
