ADVISER IN LABOR RELATIONS (temporary employment - replacement of a maternity leave beginning at the end of November 2019

under the authority of the Director General, the Labor Relations Advisor:

  • Coordinates the work of the officer in a working relationship;
  • Negotiates collective agreements, identified by the general management,
  • Participates in the development of negotiation strategies compatible with the achievement of objectives
  • Participates in the collective agreements negotiation committees
  • Analyze contracts, ensure compliance with collective agreements and negotiate settlements;
  • Draft grievances, establish records, study case law and attend arbitration sessions;
  • Participates in the preparation and negotiation of collective agreements, conducts research, analyzes, collects relevant data and attends bargaining sessions;
  • Drafts the texts of agreements, analysis documents, letters of agreement and other relevant documents;
  • Attends committee meetings;
  • Ensures strategic monitoring in the identification of best practices in labor relations and identifies implementation and monitoring strategies;
  • Performs on demand from the Branch, any other related duties that may be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations or Law
