Main tasks to be performed:< /b>
Prepare draft letters and procedures at the request of the lawyer
Write letters or legal procedures
Notify and produce legal procedures
File the procedures to the digital Registry or via bailiffs or any other means (Purolator)
Carry out research on Soquij, Land Registry, Business Registrar, Bankruptcy Superintendent, (asset: legal research), etc.
Prepare the authority books and documents and assemble them
Outlook Agenda: Enter the strict deadlines and other deadlines set out in the Protocol, appointments
Ensure monitoring of protocol deadlines in legal files, files with the lawyer through working sessions or other means
Communicate with courthouses, bailiffs, stenographers, clients, to obtain information, etc.
Reserve, if necessary, the services of stenographers during preliminary examinations and/or communicate with experts
Communicate or respond to customer requests by telephone or email
Organize and keep litigation files up to date
Proceed to open files electronically and physically
Qualifications and skills sought:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of litigation
Excellent written French – functional English (a test will be required)
Know the new Code of Civil Procedure of 2016
Ease of writing (test to pass)
Knowledge of legal procedures (test to pass)
Able to work under pressure, teamwork
Attention to detail
Sense of responsibility
