Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Legal Affairs and Human Resources, the Corporate Counsel – Legal Affairs and Governance will play a key role within the legal department. He or she will work directly with the Director of Legal Affairs to address questions related to strategic risk management, internal governance, and regulatory compliance for the clinic. This role combines a variety of legal tasks, including corporate law advice, administrative and health law litigation, regulatory monitoring, document management, contract review, and support for corporate governance. Main Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Legal Affairs and the legal team; Monitor and update litigation files (administrative law, labor law, disciplinary law), represent the company before the courts, and liaise with external counsel; Ensure regulatory compliance; Manage, standardize, and review all network contracts (employees, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers); Manage the obtaining and renewal of government permits for group entities; Draft legal opinions legal;
Assist the management of the various departments with all regulatory and legal matters; Be an inspiring ambassador for the company's values and mission; Maintain the minutes of the board of directors and the company's books; Respond to all requests for investigation or inspection from the various organizations governing medicine and collaborate, if necessary, with external counsel; Knowledge of non-profit corporate law is an asset. Perform all other related tasks.
